Troubleshooting
The computer does not recognize the
Superdisk Drive Pack.
The access lamp ([^) does not light.
Cannot read data from the disk.
Cannot eject the disk.
Is the Superdisk Drive Pack properly mounted
in the multimedia pocket?
Is the disk set correctly ?
Is the disk bent, scratched, or dirty?
Remove the check mark from [Auto insert
notification] and [DMA] under [StartJ-
[Settings]-(Control
Panel]-[System]-[Device

Is the computer powered on?
If not, power on and press the eject button.
<Use the following procedure if the previous method
failed.>
To remove a disk when the computer is powered off,
insert a sharp object such as a paper clip (made straight)
into the emergency hole. Pushing the object completely
to the end will enable the disk to be removed. However,
because there is the possibility that the lock mechanism
of the head carriage may not move, do not use this
method except for emergencies.
