Names and Functions of Parts
The port replicator is equipped with the same connection terminals as the
computer (with the exception of the headphone jack, audio-in jack, and infra­
red communication port). It allows your peripheral devices to function ex­
actly as if they were connected directly to the computer. (Refer to “Names
and Functions of Parts” in the “Operating Instructions” accompanying the
computer.)

'This functions as a ventilation opening when
the port replicator is connected to the computer.
Do not obstruct the airflow by placing objects
on top of it.

connector should be placed here when the
port replicator is connected to the computer.
Expansion Bus Connector]
This connects to the expansion bus connec­
tor on the bottom of the computer.
Be sure to keep it covered with the supplied
protective cap when the port replicator is not
connected to the computer.
