Setting the telephone

Setting the handset name

Press the Menu softkey.

Select HS SETTINGS and press OK.

Select RENAME HS and press OK.
Delete the old name with

, enter a new name using

the digit keys and confirm with OK.

Setting the display

Press the Menu softkey.

Select HS SETTINGS and press OK.

Select HS DISPLAY and press OK.

Select whether in standby-mode the handset’s name or the
time will be displayed and confirm with OK.

Setting Auto Answer

Press the Menu softkey.

Select HS SETTINGS and press OK.

Select AUTO ANSWER and press OK.

Select whether the automatic answer function will be on or
off and confirm with OK.

If AUTO ANSWER is on an incoming call will immediately be taken when

the handset is taken from the base.

Setting the dial mode

Press the Menu softkey.

Select BS SETTINGS and press OK.

Select DIAL MODE and press OK.

Select TONE or PULSE and press OK.

In most situations the TONE option should be selected.
