Creating and sending MMS
A MMS can contain text and media objects such as
images or sound recordings. Therefore, you and the recip-
ient must both have a mobile phone subscription and a
mobile telephone that supports sending and receiving
MMS messages. The settings parameters for MMS are
preset for the some network operators in Germany. For
other mobile phone providers, these may need to be mod-
ified manually. You can only get these parameters from
your provider.
Important: some profiles are already preset in your
mobile telephone. Please select the appropriate profile for
your network provider ahead of time in order to be able to
send the MMS.
To do this, go to Messaging -> Message settings -> Multi-
media message -> Data account. Select the data account
for your provider and confirm with OK. Then, you can
return to the home screen by pressing the red end call
key. If your provider is not on the list, see Connectivity,
p. 157, for setting up your MMS account.
