This chapter provides basic information on using the operating instruction
manual and the telephone.
Battery capacity (display)
Display Description
Batteries 100% charged
Batteries approx. 66% charged
Batteries approx. 33% charged
Batteries need charging / Charge the batteries
During the charging of the battery the icon is animated.
Standby mode
All descriptions in this operating manual assume that the handset is in
Standby mode. The system switches to Standby mode by pressing the but-
ton
.
Navigating in the menu
All the functions can be accessed via the various menus. The entire menu
structure can be found in the appendix.
The menu is opened in idle mode with the key .
Use the arrow keys and to move within the menu.
Press the key to open a submenu.
To return to an upper menu level press the key.
Reduction of radiation
During a call the handset’s radiation will be reduced due to its distance to
the base station.
If only one handset is registered, the base’s transmitting power will be redu-
ced significantly if the handset is placed in the base.
