J Check before fastening the product to the wall
whether the wall is suitable for the product to
be fastened to it. If necessary seek advice
from your local DIY supplier or a construction
specialist.
J Examine the wall before installation and choose
suitable installation fixings. We have supplied
fixings suitable for an ordinary solid masonry
wall.
Q assembly
Note: The covers 5 , 6 avoid newspapers
dropping from one side if necessary. Please choose
one of the cover
5 , 6 as shown in Fig. A.
j Open the stainless steel letterbox 1 with the
key 2 (Fig. A).
j Hold the stainless steel letterbox 1 against the
wall you intend to mount it on. The centre of the
letterbox flap should be positioned at a height
of between 70 cm and 170 cm from floor level.
j Mark the four boreholes on the wall with a pencil.
j Take the stainless steel letterbox 1 away from
the wall and drill the four holes of approx. 6 mm
diameter each with a small electric drill.
j Put a dowel 4 into each borehole and screw
the stainless steel letterbox 1 firmly to the wall
using the screws 3 (Fig. B).
Q Cleaning and Care
j Use a slightly dampened, non-fluffing cloth to
clean the product.
j Do not under any circumstances use corrosive
or abrasive cleaning agents.
Q Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.
