Software installation
For operation of the 743 Rancimat the PC program Metrodata 743 PC Software 1.0 stored on
the 6.6033.000 CD is needed. This program runs with the operating systems Windows™ NT,
Windows™ 2000 und Windows™ XP Professional and is installed as follows:
1 Program installation
• Log in as a user with Administrator rights.
• Place the installation CD in the CD drive. The setup program is started
automatically. Alternatively, double-click on the file Setup.exe.
• Click on
743 in the selection menu and follow the instructions of the setup
program.
The installation program copies the files from the installation CD to the
directory specified by you and also creates the following subdirectories.
Database Directory for database files ( *.mrd )
Log Directory for event files ( *.mel ) and temperature logging
files ( )
*.txt
Template Directory with empty database ( Default.mrd ) and copy of
the results program ( Nachaus.prg ).
2 Registration
• Send the registration card to us as quickly as possible so that you can be
registered as an official buyer.
