Troubleshooting
The computer does not recognize the
Superdisk Drive Pack,
Is the Superdisk Drive Pack properly
mounted in the multimedia pocket?
The access lamp (@) does not light. Is the disk set correctly?
Cannot read data from the disk. • Is the disk bent, scratched, or dirty?
• Clear the check mark from [Auto insert
notification] under [Options] in [Start] -
[Settings] - [Control Panel] - [System] -
[Device Manager] - [Disk Drives] -
[MATSHITA LS-120 SUM 01], then press
[OK].
Cannot eject the di.sk. Is the computer powered on?
If not, power on and press the eject button.
<Use the following procedure if the previous method
failed,>
To remove a disk when the computer is powered
off, insert a sharp object such as a paperclip (made
straight) into the emergency hole. Pushing the
object completely to the end will enable the disk
to be removed. However, becau.se there is the
possibility that the lock mechanism of the head
carriage may not move, do not use this method
