3. Tangent placement
It is easier for you to place the tonearm, if the two rods of the base are in vertical
position. To achieve this, please pull out the small pivot on the side of the base and
bring the two rods in the expected position. Now you can bring the tonearm with its two
precise drills onto the two rods of the base. Do this until the distance between the
lower side of the tonearm and the upper side of the tonearm base is about 10mm (this
distance depends on the turntable-model you are using).
Lock the two screws on the side of the tonearm to fix the position of the tonearm with
the hex key wrench (#2).
The now following adjustment requires an already mounted cartridge on the headshell.
Follow the instructions in the users manual of the cartridge manufacturer.
