Chapter 4. Software setup
This chapter describes how to install the display driver in your personal computer or
workstation.
To install the display driver, do the following:
1. Power on the personal computer or workstation. The following screen appears.
Press the F8 key while the operation bar is displayed.
The Windows Extended Option menu appears.
2. Select Make VGA Mode Effective, using the up and down arrow keys, and
press the Enter key. The Windows 2000 flag logo screen appears.
Note: A warning message, ″ The hardware is changed, ″ may appear after the
logo screen is displayed. Ignore this message.
3. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your personal computer or
workstation. The Setup program starts automatically, and the following menu
