Ensure that the distance from the spindle to the pivot point of the tonearm is exactly

222 mm.

Please use the supplied alignment gauge or for more accurate adjustment the

professional cartridge alignment gauge from Clearaudio (Art. No: AC005/IEC

www.analogshop.de

).

After you have confirmed the correct position, re-tighten the arm base.


2.6 Further adjustments

2.6.1 Tracking force set up

The small knob on the back end of the armwand is used to adjust tracking force.

Always check or adjust the tracking force without a record on the platter! and according
to the manufacturer`s specifications. Please ensure that the height of the measuring

platform on your tracking force gauge is the same height as a record to get an accurate

measurement. The Clearaudio Smart Stylus Gauge or Clearaudio Weight Watcher are

recommended.

2.6.2 Adjustment of the tonearm height (Vertical-Tracking-Angle / VTA)

You can change the height of your tonearm by loosening the two locking screws on the side

of the arm base (Pic. 7). For the adjustment please put a record on your turntable. After

loosing the screws, move the arm up or down to adjust the tonearm tube so that it is

parallel to the record! Tighten both screws when finished. Please remember to re-check

tracking force after adjusting VTA.
