This section provides you with important safety information regarding handling of
the appliance.
The appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
Basic safety instructions
WARNING
Risk of burns!
1. Place the barbecue on a secure, level and fi rm surface during use, otherwise
it could tip over.
2. CAUTION! Do not use spirit or petrol to ignite or reignite the barbecue!
Use only ignition aids that comply with EN 1860-3. Otherwise there is a
risk of uncontrollable heat generation due to defl agration.
3. ATTENTION! During use, the barbecue will become very hot and should
not be moved, otherwise it could tip over.
4. ATTENTION! Keep children and pets well away from the barbecue!
5. When grilling, wear appropriate grilling gloves and use grilling tongs.
6. Never leave the barbecue unsupervised when hot.
7. Allow the barbecue to cool down completely before cleaning it.

transport bag.
9. Never use water to extinguish the glowing charcoal.
