Recording in the Cinema Mode
(Cinema Mode)
This mode lets you record in the cinema-like wide-screen
format.

Press the [MENU] Button.
The [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] Main-Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [CAMERA
SETUP] and then press the [PUSH] Dial.
The [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [CINEMA].

Press the [PUSH] Dial to select [ON].
Black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen

Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.
Cancelling the Cinema Mode
Set [CINEMA] on the [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu to [OFF].
≥ Using the Cinema Mode does not widen the recording angle.
≥ A picture displayed in the Multi-Picture Mode cannot be
displayed in the Cinema Mode.
≥ If you play back the picture recorded in the Cinema Mode on
a wide-screen (16:9) format TV, the size of the playback
picture is automatically adjusted to match the format of the
TV screen. For details, read the TV’s operating instructions.
Aufnehmen im Kinoformat-Modus
(Kinoformat-Modus)
Dieser Modus ermöglicht das Aufnehmen in einem
kinobildschirm-ähnlichen Breitbild-Format.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken.
Das Hauptmenü [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] erscheint.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [CAMERA
SETUP] zu wählen, und dann den Regler
[PUSH] drücken.
Das Untermenü [CAMERA SETUP] erscheint.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [CINEMA] zu
wählen.

Den Regler [PUSH] drücken, um [ON] zu
wählen.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken, um das Menü
auszublenden.
Ausschalten des Kinoformat-Modus
[CINEMA] im Untermenü [CAMERA SETUP] auf [OFF]
einstellen.
≥ Der Aufnahmewinkel wird nicht durch das Benutzen des
Kinoformat-Modus vergrößert.
≥ Ein im Multibild-Modus eingeblendetes Bild kann nicht im
Kinoformat-Modus eingeblendet werden.
≥ Wenn Sie ein im Kinoformat-Modus aufgenommenes Bild
auf einem Fernseher im Breitbild-Format (16:9)
wiedergeben, wird die Größe des Wiedergabebildes
automatisch dem Fernsehformat angeglichen. Für nähere
