3.4 Automated data transfer
Determinations can be sent to the computer automatically.
As the 796 TP Backup program works completely in the background, determina-
tions can be saved continuously without blocking the computer for other appli-
cations.
Connect the PC and 796 Titroprocessor, switch on both instruments and start
the 796 TP Backup program.
To set up the connection, click Receive (or choose the Receive command
from the File menu).
On the Main page of the 796 Titroprocessor, modify the following settings:
Auto save Auto save 'on' 'on'
Destination Destination 'RS232 1' or 'RS232 2' 'RS232 1' or 'RS232 2'
The determination data are now sent to the PC after completion of the determi-
nation.
