Safety advice / Functioning

Functioning / Installation

at temperatures above the freezing
point is ideal. The battery does not
achieve maximum capacity until after
several charge and discharge cycles.

Charging the

rechargeable Battery

The charging time of the battery depends
on the intensity of the sunlight and the
angle of incidence of the light on the
solar cell

7

.

Place the solar cell as perpendicular as
possible to the angle of incidence of
the light. In this way you will receive the
highest light levels.
Note: While charging the lamp must
be switched on.

Installation

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS!

The surface of the light can reach a
temperature of 60 °C.
Note: The load capacity of the lamp
glass

3

is max. 400 kg (4000 N).

Note: Before you start work make
yourself familiar with each step of the
installation, otherwise have the product
installed by electrician.
Note: The batteries have been prein-
stalled in your device at the factory.
Note: Ensure that the light is installed
so that the solar cell

7

is exposed to

direct sunlight.
Note: You have the choice of installing
the light in the ground or in a substrate
such as wood (e.g. patio) or concrete.
Installation in a wooden or concrete
floor requires a drill and hole cutter suit-
able for use on wood respectively.
Note: To do this you will require a cross-
head screwdriver and a hexagon key.
