During installation keep children away from the
area in which you are working. The scope of
supply includes a number of screws and other
small parts. These may prove lifethreatening if
swallowed or inhaled.
J Children or persons who lack the knowledge or
experience to use the device or whose physical,
sensory or intellectual capacities are limited must
never be allowed to use the device without
supervision or instruction by a person responsible
for their safety. Children must never be allowed
to play with the device.

in potentially explosive environments
in which there are inflam mable vapours, gases
or dusts.

The light can be installed on all
normally flammable surfaces.
Danger to life by
electric shock
J Electrical installation must be performed by a
qualified electrician or a person authorised to
perform electrical installations.
J Never use the light if you discover any kind of
damage.
J In the event of damage, repair or other problems
with the light, please contact the service office
or an electrician.
J Before installing the light, disconnect the electric
circuit at the fuse box or remove the screw-in
fuses from the fuse box.
J Never open any of the electrical equipment or
insert objects of any kind into it. Such tampering
poses a danger to life by electric shock.

FIrE HaZarD! Install the light at
least 0.3 m away from materials in
its path. An excessive build-up of
heat can cause fires.
J Make sure before installing the light that the
mains voltage at the place of installation
complies with the operating voltage of the light
(220 – 240 V ~) and that the wire cross-section
of the supply cable is 1.5 mm 2 . Do not install
the light if this is not the case.
J The LEDs 2 cannot be replaced. If the LEDs 2
break, the light can no longer be used. In this
case please dispose of the light properly.

lamps and light immediately on unpacking for
signs of damage. Do not install the light if you
discover any damage. In the event of damage,
please contact the service office for replacement.

INJUrY! Take care not to hit electricity, gas or
water lines when drilling in the wall. If necessary,
check with a pipe and cable detector before
drilling into the wall.
CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Make sure that
the light is switched off and has cooled down
before you touch it. Lamps can become very hot.
J Always install the light above head level to
avoid injuries.
Correct procedure
J Prepare installation carefully and allow yourself
plenty of time. Lay out all the parts and any
additional tools or material clearly and within
easy reach.
J Pay attention at all times! Always concentrate
on what you are doing and act sensibly. Do
not under any circumstances install the light if
you cannot concentrate or are feeling unwell.
J The light is splashproof. It is designed for
installation on a vertical wall with the stainless
steel casing
1 facing upwards. The protection
type is IP44. The light is not protected against
jets of water from hoses or similar items.
