Danger to life from
electric shock!
J Every time before you connect the lamp to the
mains, you should check the power supply
cable
12 and, if need be, the connection
cable 7 for any signs of damage.
J Never use your lamp if you discover any
damage.
m CaUTION! Damaged power supply cables
and connecting cables are a danger to life as
you could suffer an electric shock.
J Before assembly, ensure that the mains voltage
available corresponds to the operating voltage
necessary of the light (230 V ~).
J Never let the lamp come into contact with
water or other liquids.
J Never open or insert anything into electrical
fittings or equipment. Doing this sort of thing can
lead to a serious danger to life from electric
shock.
J Touch only the insulated part of the plug when
connecting to or disconnecting from the mains
supply.
J If the external flexible cable of this lamp is
damaged, it may only be replaced by a special
cable or a cable that is only available from the
manufacturer or his service representative.
J Use only the original power supply cable 12
to connect the under-cabinet light to the mains
current.
J Connect only original under-cabinet lights of
the same type (Model Z30421A / Z30421B)
with each other. To do so, use only the original
connection cable
7 supplied.
J Connect the under-cabinet lights that are linked
up together to one socket only. Make sure that
you only connect a maximum of 10 linked-up
under-cabinet lights of the same type to one
socket. Otherwise this might overload the con-
nections and cables.
J Make sure that all under-cabinet lights are
linked up via connecting cables before inserting
the power cable into the socket.
To avoid danger of fire
and injury
m RISK OF INJURY! Immediately after un-
packing the lamp, check the lamp housing 3 ,
the protective glass 10 as well as the power
supply cable 12 and, if need be, the connec-
tion cable 7 for damage. Do not install the
lamp if you discover any damage. If anything
is damaged, contact the service centre to
arrange a replacement.
