J Examine the ceiling before installation and
choose suitable installation fixings.
J For ceiling installation we have supplied fixings
suitable for ordinary solid concrete or masonry
construction.
J Replace defective bulbs with new ones immediate-
ly, otherwise damage to the product may occur.
J Always use 230 V ~ LED bulbs with a GU 10
fitting and a maximum rated power of 4 watts.
J Fit the light in such a way to ensure it is protected
from damp and dirt.

The tools and materials mentioned are not included in
the delivery. The details and values given are non-bind-
ing and for guidance only. The nature of the material
depends on the individual circumstances on site.
– Pencil / Marking tool
– Voltage tester
– Crossed screwdriver
– Electric drill
– Drill
– Edge cutter
– Ladder
– Hammer
Q Before installation
Important: the electrical connection must be made
by a qualified electrician or a person authorised
to perform electrical installations. This person must
be familiar with the properties of the light and all
connection regulations.
J Before installation, please familiarise yourself
with the instructions and illustrations in this
operating manual and with the light itself.
J Make sure before installation that there is no
voltage on the line you will be connecting the
light to. To do this, remove the fuse or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
J Check that there is no voltage using a voltage
tester.
Q Installation
Note: you will need an electric drill to install the light.
m CaUTION! rISK OF INJUrY! Please read
the operating instructions for your drill.
j Remove the screws 2 on the side of the
connection enclosure 9 .
j Remove the mounting stirrup 3 from the
connection enclosure 9 .
j Mark the positions for the drilled holes on the
ceiling using the predrilled holes in the mounting
stirrup
3 as a guide.
j Now drill the fixing holes.
m CaUTION! Ensure that you do not damage
any cables in the ceiling.
j Insert the dowels 1 into the drilled holes.
j Fix the mounting stirrup 3 to the ceiling with
the screws 4 .
j Now connect the connection cable of the light
to the mains connection cable (external)
6 by
means of the terminal block 5 .
Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains con-
nection cable (external)
6 is properly con-
nected in the correct place: live wire, black or
brown = symbol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N,
protective earth wire, green-yellow = symbol .
j Fix the light to the mounting stirrup 3 with the
screws 2 .
Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you
are inserting a bulb

j Insert the bulb 8 , turn it a ¼ turn clockwise.
Check that the bulb 8 is correctly seated.
Your light is now ready for operation.
Q Directing the spots
CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Before using
the lamp head to change the orientation of the
spotlight
7 , you must switch the lamp off and allow
it to cool down completely or use the adjusting
lever
