Measurement/Planning
• To prevent the measurement from being influenced by other components such as e.g. the bat-
tery, these components must be positioned at a distance of at least 30 cm from the base station.
Likewise other metallic objects should be positioned as far away from the base station as possible.
• Limit values for field strength measurement provide an indicator of the system’s quality; however
they should be verified by an audio connection as the call quality can then be rated directly.
Next walk around the entire radio hop, determine the corresponding locations of the transmitters,
and enter them in your plan.
