2 Method of operation
A gear unit converts the longitudinal movement of the push rod into a rotary move-
ment of the positioning shaft.
3 Application
The AS-DLP has been designed as an intermediate component of positioning cylin-
ders type DLP-... for attaching commercially available positioning units.
4 Conditions of use

Make sure that the requirements specified in this chapter are always observed.
The product will then function correctly and reliably.
Incorrect handling will result in malfunctioning.
S Compare the maximum permitted values in these operating instructions with
your actual application (e.g. pressures, forces, torques, masses, speeds, tem-
peratures).
The product can only be operated in accordance with the relevant safety guide-
lines if the maximum limits are observed.
S Make sure that technical regulations applying to your site are always ob-
served. Please observe also local and national regulations.
S Remove the packaging.
The packaging is intended for recycling (except for oiled paper which must be
disposed of ).
S Take into account the ambient conditions at your site.
S Use the product in its original condition without undertaking any modifica-
tions.
