Troubleshooting

You can solve most problems yourself using the following table. If the problem

still persists after you have worked through these approaches, contact our

service hotline (see page 67). Do not perform any repairs personally!

The Power/WPS LED (3) does not light up.

 Check whether the main switch (9) is in the "ON" position.
 Socket defective or fuse tripped; use another device to check the socket.

No wireless connection to the wireless router

 The distance to the wireless router is too great, thus reduce it.

 The router's wireless function is disabled; enable the wireless function.

No LAN connection

 Check whether the network cable is inserted correctly into the LAN socket (8)

of the dual-band wifi range extender and into the LAN socket of your end

device.

 Use a different network cable to exclude a fault in the network cable.

Connection with the WPS button fails

 Establish the connection with the WPS button again.
 Reset the dual-band wifi range extender to its original condition. After

pressing the reset button (7) for at least 10 seconds with a sharp object, the

dual-band wifi range extender restarts a few seconds after you release the

button. You can identify this from the fact that the LEDs briefly go out and

then come on again after a few seconds. Then establish the connection with

the WPS button again.
