DANGER OF SCALDING! When making
the hot water setting please ensure that the
temperature of the water is not too high.

Please note that seals are wear parts and
therefore will require to be replaced from time
to time.

BEWARE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Leaks can put your life at risk from
electric shocks. Carefully check that
all connections are watertight. Also ensure that
all wires of electric appliances are correct and
have been securely installed.

Any leakage or sudden escape of water can
cause considerable damage to buildings and
property. All connections must therefore be
checked carefully to ensure that they are tight.

Familiarise yourself prior to installation with all
local conditions, e.g. water connections and
shut-off device.
 Assembly
 Installing the fitting
1. Shut off the main water supply. Al-
low the remaining water to run off.
2. Screw the two flexible hoses 16 hand-tight into
the holes 16 a , 16 b provided for them on the
underside of the tap body 9 (Fig. B). The two
hoses are identical and suitable for either hot
or cold water.
3. Screw the two set screws 14 into the holes
14 a , 14 b provided for them.
4. Slide the sealing ring 11 over the flexible hos-
es 16 and the set screws 14 . Then insert the
free ends of the flexible hoses 16 and the set
screws 14 through the hole in the wash basin
(Fig. C). Ensure that the sealing rings 11 are
properly seated between the tap body 9 and
wash basin.
5. Push the crescent-shaped seal 12 and crescent-
shaped metal disc 13 onto the two setscrews
14 from below.
6. Fix the faucet onto the washstand by screwing
the two nuts 15 onto the setscrews 14 .
7. Connect the connecting pipes 16 to the water
connection.
 Installing the waste fitting
1. Remove the protective cap 17 from the plug
holder 19 .
2. Unscrew the plug holder 19 of the waste
fitting from the waste fitting block 22 and
place the waste fitting block with the plastic
seal
21 from below against the wash basin
waste (hole). Place the foam seal 20 from
above between the plug holder 19 and the
wash basin waste (hole) (Fig. D). Make sure
that the seals are correctly fitted. Screw in the
plug holder
19 again.
3. Screw the pull rod 29 through the eccentric
rod guide (rear hole) 8 in the tap body 9 .
4. Screw the bottom part of the rod 28 on to the
pull rod 29 (Fig. E1).
5. Unscrew the nut 25 from the waste fitting block
22 . Insert the rod 24 into the hole of the waste
fitting block (Fig. E2). Ensure that the cone seal
23 is correctly fitted. The ball of the rod 24
should be resting against the cone seal 23 .
Place the nut 25 on the rod 24 and screw the
nut 25 on to the thread of the waste fitting
block 22 . Slide the metal clip 26 with one hole
over the rod 24 . Then slide the coupling 27
and the other hole in the metal clip 26 over the
rod 24 (Fig. E1).
6. Connect the complete pull rod 28 + 29 with
the coupling 27 of the rod 24 . Align the cou-
pling 27 in such a way that the waste plug 18
opens and closes properly when the pull rod
29 is operated.
CAUTION:

Do not twist the hoses or place them under ten-
sion.
