Operation
• Always operate the BV with protective
hood to ensure that:
– nobody can place his/her hand
in the positioning range of the feed
clamp
– no objects are in the positioning
path, by starting the BV only when
the protective hood is fitted.
Maintenance and care
• Clean the guide rods if they are dirty.
The following cleaning agents are per-
mitted:
– warm water (max. + 60° C)
– petroleum ether
– soap suds
• Lubricate the ventilated BV
– with LUB-KB2
– on the lubricating nipple (10)
– every 500 kilometres.
• Check whether lubrication must be
carried out more often.
This may be necessary in the case of:
– high temperatures
– considerable dirt
– use in the vicinity of grease
solvent liquids or fumes
Bedienung und Betrieb
• Betreiben Sie den BV-... stets mit
Schutzhaube.
Damit stellen Sie sicher, daß niemand
– in die Laufrichtung der bewegten
Masse greifen kann
– keine Fremdgegenstände dorthin
gelangen.
Wartung und Pflege
• Reinigen Sie im Falle von Verschmut-
zungen die Führungsstangen.
Zulässig sind
– Warmes Wasser (max. + 60° C)
– Waschbenzin
– Seifenlauge
• Schmieren Sie das entlüftete BV
– am Schmiernippel (10)
– mit LUB-KB2
– alle 500 Laufkilometer.
• Prüfen Sie die Notwendigkeit kürzerer
Schmierintervalle.
Das kann notwendig sein bei
– hoher Temperaturbelastung
– starkem Schmutzanfall
– Einsatz des BV in der Nähe fettlösen-
der Flüssigkeiten oder Dämpfe
