4. Begleitautomatik
The DD-14 is capable of accompanying you with 100
automatic rhythm styles covering an extremely wide range of
musical genres. These styles are listed in the STYLE LIST ®
which is divided between the right and left sides of the
control panel. You can select and play back any of the styles,
then play along with them using the manual percussion
techniques described in the preceding chapter.
Try pressing the START/STOP button The DD-14 will
begin playing style 00 (DANCE 1), complete with a bass line
and chord pattern. This style is automatically selected as the
current accompaniment style each time you turn on the
POWER switch (I). Once you start the Auto Accompaniment,
it will keep playing until you stop it. You can do so by
pressing the START/STOP button a second time.
4.1 The Auto Bass Chord Function
Each time you turn the DD-14's POWER switch ® on, the
indicator above AUTO BASS CHORD button @ will light.
This means that the Auto Bass Chord function has been
activated.

Stile ab. Diese Stile sind in der STYLE LIST (T), die links und
rechts auf dem Bedienfeld aufgedruckt sind, aufgeführt. Sie können
jeden beliebigen Rhythmus wählen und abspielen und gleichzeitig
mitspielen. Außerdem können Sie während des Spiels die oben
erwähnten Perkussionsfunktionen einsetzen.
Drücken Sie die START/STOP-Taste Das DD-14 startet dann
die Wiedergabe von Stil 00 (DANCE 1), der auch eine Baß- und
Akkordbegleitung enthält. Diese Grundeinstellung für den
Begleitstil wird beim Aktivieren des POWER-Schalters ®
automatisch vorgegeben. Die Begleitautomatik spielt so lange, bis
Sie sie wieder anhalten, indem Sie die START/STOP-Taste erneut
drücken.
4.1 Baß/Akkordautomatik
Wenn Sie den POWER-Schalter ® des DD-14 aktivieren, leuchte
eine Diode über der AUTO BASS CHORD-Taste @ auf, um
anzuzeigen, daß die Baß/Akkordautomatik aktiviert wurde.
If you've tried playing the Auto Accompaniment, you've
probably got a pretty good idea of what the Auto Bass Chord
function does. Basically, it adds a bass line and a chord
pattern to the rhythm section, giving you a complete rhythm
section to play along with. The added instruments play a
preset chord progression that more or less matches the
selected accompaniment style.
Of course, you don't have to use this chord progression if
you don't want to. The Chord Memory function described in
Chapter 5 lets you create your own songs, complete with
chord progressions. Or if you'd prefer to perform with no
sounds other than percussion, press the AUTO BASS
CHORD button @ to turn the Auto Bass Chord function off.
Wenn Sie bereits versucht haben sollten, mit der automatischen
Begleitung zu spielen, haben Sie sicher bereits eine gute
Vorstellung davon, was die Baß/Akkordautomatik leistet. Im
Prinzip fügt sie dem Rhythmus eine Baßmelodie und eine
Akkordbegleitung hinzu, so daß sie jetzt eine vollständige
Rhythmusabteilung haben, zu der Sie mitspielen können. Die
hinzugefügten Instrumente spielen eine vorprogrammieru
Akkordfolge, die mehr oder weniger dem gewählten Begleitstil
entspricht.
Natürlich müssen Sie die Funktion nicht gebrauchen, wenn Sie
nicht wollen. Die in Kapitel 5 beschriebene
Akkordspeicherfunktion ermöglicht es Ihnen Ihre eigenen Lieder
zu komponieren, komplett mit Akkordbegleitung. Wenn nur
Schlagzeug spielen möchten, drücken Sic die AUTO BASS
CHORD-Taste © erneut, um die Baß/Akkordautomatik
auszuschalten.
