Playing a Keyboard or Tone Generator From the
DD-14
When you connect the DD-14 MIDI OUT terminal to the MID!
IN terminal of a MIDI keyboard or tone generator, the
keyboard or tone generator will respond to the notes played
on the DD-14- Referring to the instrument and note list
above, if SNARE DRUM 1 is assigned to PAD 1, then MIDI
note number 38 will transmitted whenever this pad is played,
causing the receiving keyboard or tone generator to play the
D1.
Ansteuern eines Keyboard oder eine Tongenerators mit
dem DD-14
Wenn Sie den MIDI-Ausgang des DD-14 an den MIDI-Eingang
eines MIDI-Keyboards oder Tongenerators anschließen, wird das
MIDI-Keyboard oder der Tongenerator auf die auf dem DD-14
gespielten Noten reagieren. Entsprechend der oben aufgeführten
Klang- und Notenübersicht entspricht die Zuweisung der SNARE
DRUM 1 zu Schlagfläche 1 der MIDI-Notennummer 38. Diese
Nummer wird gesendet, wenn Sie auf dieser Schlagfläche spielen
und veranlaßt das empfangende Keyboard ein Dl zu spielen.

Playing the DD-14 From a Keyboard
When you connect the MIDI OUT terminal of a MIDI
keyboard to the DD-I4's MIDI IN terminal, then the DD-14
will play the instruments specified by any note information
received from the keyboard. If the keyboard sends the D1,
for example, the DD-14 will receive MIDI note number 38,
causing the SNARE DRUM 1 instrument to sound.

Wenn Sie den MIDI-Ausgang eines MIDI-Keyboards an den
MIDI-Eingang des DD-14 anschließen, wird das DD-14
entsprechend der vom Keyboard empfangenen Noteninformationen
die betreffenden Instrumente spielen. Wenn das Keyboard zum
Beispiel ein Dl sendet, empfängt das DD-14 die MIDI-
Notennummer 38 und aktiviert daraufhin SNARE DRUM 1.
Sequence Recording With the DD-14
This same type of musical information transmission
described in the above examples apply to MIDI sequence
recording as well. This means that you can use a MIDI
sequencer to record MIDI data received from the DD-14.
When you retransmit the recorded data back to the DD-14, it
will respond by playing the recorded performance in precise
detail.

Die oben beschriebene Form der Übertragung musikalischer
Informationen gilt in gleicher Weise auch für MIDI
Sequenzaufnahmen. Das heißt. Sie können einen MIDI-Sequenz
benutzen, um die Daten des DD-14 aufzuzeichnen. Wenn Sie die
aufgezeichneten Daten wieder zum DD-14 senden, wird es darauf
reagieren, indem es das aufgezeichnete Spiel in allen Einzelheiten
