3.4 The Auto Roll Function
The DD-12 features a handy Auto Roll function which helps
you dress up your performances with smooth echoes, flams,
and rolls. Since the length and speed of each of these effects
varies automatically to match the tempo, all you have to do is
hit the first note with the right timing and the DD-12 will do
the rest. Even novice percussionists can get slick,
professional-sounding results every time.
1. Press the AUTO ROLL button @ once. The current Auto
Roll setting will appear in the display ©.
3.4 Die Wirbelautomatik
Das DD-12 hat eine praktische Wirbelautomatik, um mit Wirbeln,
Flams (Doppelschlägen) und Echos Ihre Aufführung zu
unterstützen. Da die Länge und die Geschwindigkeit dieser Effekte
sich automatisch an das Tempo anpaßt, brauchen Sie nur zur
rechten Zeit einmal die erste Note anzuspielen. Das DD-12 erledigt
dann den Rest.
1. Die AUTO ROLL-Taste einmal drücken. Die gegenwärtige
Einstellung der Wirbelautomatik erscheint nun im Display ®.
Note: The Auto Roll function is automatically turned off
whenever you turn the POWER switch (8) on.
2. Press the AUTO ROLL button repeatedly to select the
desired setting.

When you select the "echo" setting, the DD-12 will add to
each note a series of eighth-note echoes that fade out
over the space of a measure.

2. Die AUTO ROLL-Taste wiederholt drücken, um die
gewünschte Einstellung zu wählen.

Wenn Sie die Einstellung "ECHO" wählen, versieht das DD-12
jede Note mit einem achtfachen Echo, das im Verlauf eines
Taktes langsam ausklingt.
