6. MIDI-Funktionen
MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, a
worldwide standard that allows digital musical instruments
and other equipment to communicate musical information
and control one another. This standard makes it possible to
create systems of MIDI instruments and equipment that offer
far greater versatility than is possible with isolated
instruments.
The DD-12 automatically transmits MIDI note and velocity
information from its MIDI OUT terminal whenever you play
one of the percussion pads, or the foot pedal. This
information can be used to tell a receiving keyboard or tone
generator to play a certain note (specified by the MIDI note
number) at a certain dynamic level (specified by the MIDI
velocity value).
It is also capable of receiving the same information from an
external keyboard or sequencer at the MIDI IN terminal. The
DD“12's internal tone generator will play the corresponding
note or instrument whenever such data is received. The MIDI
note numbers corresponding to the DD-12's instruments (and
melody instrument notes) are listed below.
Die Abkürzung MIDI steht für "Musical Instrument Digital
Interface", einer Norm, mit der digitale Musikinstrumente und
andere Komponenten musikalische Informationen austauschen und
sich gegenseitig ansteuern können. Dieser Standard macht den
Aufbau ganzer Systeme aus MIDI-Instrumenten und anderen
Anlagen möglich, die wesentlich vielseitiger sind als einzelne
Instrumente. Das DD-12 sendet automatisch Noten- und
Geschwindigkeitsdaten im MIDI-Format über seinen MIDI-
Ausgang, wenn Sie eine der Schlagflächen oder das Fußpedal
berühren. Mit Hilfe dieser Informationen können zum Beispiel
Keyboards oder Tongeneratoren auf der Empfängerseite zur
Wiedergabe bestimmter (durch die MIDI-Notennummer
festgelegter) Noten mit einem bestimmten (durch den MIDI-
Geschwindigkeitswert festgelegten) Dynamikpegel angesteuert
werden.
Das DD-12 ist kann diese Informationen auch von einem externen
Keyboard oder Sequenzer empfangen. Sobald MIDI-Dater^
empfangen werden, spielt der DD-12 Tongenerator des DD-12
entsprechende Noten oder Instrumente. Die MIDI-Notennummem
die den einzelnen Instrumenten (und Melodieinstrumentnoten) des
DD-12 entsprechen, sind unten aufgeführt.
