Connecting your video recorder to HiFi audio equipment
Using an audio cable, connect the socket AUDIO -© to the
corresponding output sockets on the audio amplifier.
Using an audio cable, connect the socket AUDIO O*" to the
corresponding input sockets on the audio amplifier.
2nd AV-Euroconnector
The AV-Euroconnector EXTERNAL 2 may be used to connect an
additional video recorder, a satellite decoder, a CD-Videoplayer etc.
Use an AV-Eurocable to connect the video recorder
(socket EXTERNAL 2) to the other equipment.
When the additional equipment is in a playback function, the video
recorder must be switched on (e.g. in Tuner mode) and programme
number ‘E2’ selected.
STORING TV CHANNELS

In chapter2 you connected yourTV setto the video recorder,enabling
you to play a cassette. In orderto be able to record TV programmes,
it is necessary to store the TV channels on the video recorder.
It is possible to store up to 48 TV channels !
Each TV channel has to have a number.
We advise you to use the same programme numbers for the TV
channels on the video recorder as those on your TV set.
This will make operating the video recorder a great deal easier.
The following is an example in which yourTV set has the association
listed below:
TV channel BBC 1 = programme number 1
TV channel BBC 2 = programme number 2
TV channel ITV = programme number 3
video recorder = programme number 8
or
video recorder = programme number ‘AV
If yourTV set is already installed, these associations will already be
stored. Now make the same association on the video recorder
between a TV channel and a programme number.
There are two methods of tuning:

If you do not know which channel number corresponds to the
particular TV channel you want to store:
Read the section ‘Automatic channel search’.
• If you know which channel number corresponds to the particular
TV channel you want to store:
Read the section ‘Direct channel storage’.
Please note:
If you store a TV channel on a programme number that has already
been used, the original channel will be deleted.
Automatic channel search
O Switch on the TV set and select the programme number for the
video recorder (in our example number ‘8’ or ‘AV).
O Switch on the video recorder by pressing button I I I .
o Press button . The video recorder will search for a TV
channel.
The video recorder display will show e.g.:
