• When the automatic channel search finds a TV channel,
Its picture appears on the TV screen.
The video recorder display will show e.g.:

• Press button again if it isn’t the desired TV channel or
If the picture quality is poor.
The video recorder will search for the next TV channel.
O
The video recorder will propose a programme number
( e.g. P 01 ) in which to store the TV channel.
If you wish to store it in another programme number, press
buttons + or “ to change the programme numbers.
If it is for instance the TV channei ‘BBC2’, then in our example
it would be number ‘2’.
A tip: If the reception of the TV channel is not optimum, then we
advise that you operate button
to start the automatic fine
tuning.
Please note: During the first installation the video recorder will
propose a programme number starting with ‘01 ’.It increases
automatically each time you store a channel 01, 02, etc..
O If the programme number is correct and the TV channel
reception is good, store them by pressing button .
O Repeat steps O to 0 until all the desired TV channels are
stored.
Direct channei storage
O Switch on the TV set and select the programme number for the
video recorder (in our example number ‘8’ or ‘AV’).
O Switch on the video recorder by pressing button II ■ .

The video recorder will show a programme number as a memory
position (in our diagramme, for example, this is ‘P 01 ’). If you
would rather store another number press button + or — to
change the programme number.
O Press button EEHai. The video recorder display will show a
flashing channel number (in our diagramme, for example, this is
‘C002’).

Enter the desired channel number in 3 digits by pressing button
+ or — or the digit buttons 0-9 (e.g. ‘027’ for ‘channel 27’).
O The image of the TV channel received will appear on the TV
screen.
• If it isn’t the desired TV channel or if the picture quality is poor,
enter another channel number.
A tip: If the reception of the TV channel is not optimum, then we
advise that you operate button liiftwauM to start the automatic fine
tuning.

As soon as the right TV channel is found, store it by pressing
button EnnS.

Repeat steps

until all the desired TV channels are

Availability fable for special cable TV
If you possess cable TV equipment with special availability, you
must enter the already defined channel numbers for the special
channels.
Proceed as described in section ‘Direct channel storage’ and enter
the channel numbers of the following tabie at step O.
Further information about the channel numbers is available from
your cable TV supplier.
