USEFUL INFORMATION
ON VIDEO CASSETTES

VHS cassettes can be used on one side only. In the initial position
the empty part of the cassette, i.e. the part without tape, is at the right
side of the cassette. During playback/ recording the tape is wound
from the left to the right side of the cassette.
Previous recordings on a video cassette are automatically erased
when you rerecord on the cassette.
Erase protection :
You may prevent accidental erasing of an important recording by
breaking off the erase tab on the rear edge of the cassette with a
screwdriver.
if you decide to record on the tape again, cover the hoie from which
the tab was removed with adhesive tape.
Repiace any partiy detached adhesive tape.
What you should do:
Buy oniy high quaiity cassettes.
Cassettes of inferior quality make your video recorder and the
valuable video heads dirty.
Do not:
dismantle the cassette
touch the tape
drop or shake the cassette
Storing cassettes:
Always rewind the tape to the beginning before storage.
Always store the cassette in its case and vertically.
Keep the cassettes away from:
extreme humidity
dust
bright suniight and heating sources
magnetic sources,as loudspeakers,transformers, magnets and
so on.
