Audio dubbing with an audio mixing panei:
You can mix the original HiFi sound with an external sound by
connecting your video recorder to an audio mixing panel.
During the recording the sound cannot be heard.
Proceed as mentioned in the section ‘Audio dubbing’ from step

to
step o, afterwards push button KUMiB until the display
shows SI .
Insert function
This function will enable you to successively insert a new scene into
an existing recording. The new recording will be inserted without
picture disturbances.
O Load a cassette. Press button + or — or the digit buttons
0-9 to select the TV programme from which you want to
record.
O Press button until the display shows :

The audio level AUDIO RECORD LEVEL must be adjusted manually.
Please note: If the insert-function is used too often on the same
tape position, the inserted scene will be of poorer quality.
Recording from an external source
With this video recorder it is possible to make recordings from
external sources, as for example copying onto this video recorder
from another video recorder.
To do this you need a 21 -pin AV-euroconnector (scart-socket). Your
dealer can advise you which cable to use.

Connect this video recorderto the other set, from which you wish
to make a recording, e.g. to a second video recorder. For this
connect the corresponding 21 -pin sockets on both sets (socket
EXTERNAL 2 ) using an AV-Eurocable.
Note: In the following description this video recorder is to serve as
the one on which is being recorded and will be referred to as
VCR B. The second video recorder will be used for playback and will
be referred to as VCR A.

O Insert the pre-recorded cassette into VCR A and a cassette into
VCR B.
Q Select the programme number ‘E2’ on VCR B. ‘E2’ is next to
programme number ‘P 01’. Select it by pressing button
+ or — .
OT o start the recording press the record button hilwJifi on
VCR B and the play button ► on VCR A .
