Audio-only-recording

You can make HiFi stereo audio recordings with a play/record time
of up to 10 hours on an E300 cassette.

• Connect the video recorder to a HiFi stereo audio system as

described in the ‘Installation’ chapter.

AUDIO RECORD LEVEL

Recording TV picture and HiFi radio sound

simultaneously (simulcast recording)

The sound of some TV programmes is also broadcast in stereo

sound on FM radio. In orderto get optimum stereo sound quality you
can record the picture from the TV programme and simultaneously
record the FM stereo sound from the radio tuner. To do this, connect
the radio tuner to the socket AUDIO -© using an audio-cable.

O Load a cassette.

Simulcast recordings without a video signal are not possible.

Foratimed simulcast recording, proceed as fortimed recordings

of TV programmes, but after having selected the programme

AUDIO RECORD LEVEL

Audio dubbing

This function enables you to replace the soundtrack of a previously

made recording with a sound of your choice (via AUDIO -©
socket).
Only the normal (linear) soundtrack is changed; the

FM stereo tracks and the video track remain unchanged.

O Load the cassette.

Press the button ► to locate the point where the audio

dubbing is to start. Press the button

Press the recording button

The video recorder will start to record the sound input from the audio
source, replacing the normal (linear) sound track. Audio level takes
place automatically.

In orderto hear the sound which is being recorded, select the ‘mono

sound’ soundtrack by pressing the button mSi.
