How do i correct picture disturbances (Auto-tracking) ?
If the playback picture and/or sound quality of hired cassettes is
poor, the video head tracking position may be easily adjusted:
O Press button ►.
O Press button S .
The video recorder will automatically find the best playback
quality within a few seconds.
The automatically found tracking position of very poor
recordings can sometimes be improved as follows:

Press button ►.

Press button ISi.
O Then press button ► at the very moment when the best
playback quality has been reached.

Wind and rewind:
O Press button II ■ .

The tape will rewind or wind at high speed.

reached.
Picture search:

The tape will play forwards or backwards at many times the
normal speed, displaying the recorded image but without sound.

Note:
During the picture search function picture quality may be affected,
in particular in the long play (LP) function. This does not indicate a
malfunction.
Still picture:
O Press button ► .

Press button Hd. The picture will stand still.
Each time you press this button , the tape will advance
by one step.

Press button ► for normal playback.

Please note:
Still pictures can sometimes show vertical vibrations.
Press and hold button в until the vibration disappears.
If the optimum position has been passed, press and hold button
e again.
This adjustment for still pictures only has to be done once as the
video recorder will store the adjustment details automatically.
Important! With hired cassettes of poor quality the still picture may
nevertheless be affected by interference. This is not caused by your
video recorder.
Fast motion:

The recording is shown in fast motion.

Press button ► again for normal playback.
Play reverse at normal speed:
This function is very convenient if you wish to go back to a particular
scene.

Press button A . The sound is muted.

If you wish to return to normal playback, press button ►.
Slow motion ‘double fine’:

The recording is shown in slow motion. The sound is muted.

Variable slow motion:

If button + or — is then pressed the slow motion speed can
be changed in 4 steps, i.e. 1/6,1/10,1/14,1/18 of normal
playback speed.
During slow motion the sound is muted.

Note: The slow motion speed selected using button + or —
remains stored until it is changed again.
Superslow motion:
With this set you can see the recorded programme in superslow
motion of exceptional quality.
