Cylinder barrel or guide rods dirty
Cylinder barrel or guide rods damaged Lubricate
If possible restrict exhaust
Clean, provide cover
Inform Festo
Slide does not
reach stroke end
position Magnetic coupling has become disengaged
Regulating screw of end pos. cushioning completely closed
Shock absorber set too high or stop set too narrow
Stop plate shifted
Press outer slide by hand into end position until the inner
slide couples into place against the magnetic repelling
force.
Open regulating screw of end pos. cushioning
Readjust the SLM
Fasten stop plate correctly
Impact in end
position too hard Cushioning too soft,
speed too high,
work load too large Increase end position cushioning,
reduce speed,
reduce work load
Oscillation with
long strokes Speed too high,
