WARNING! Work that is not carried out correctly can cause serious injury and
damage. The actions described below may ONLY be carried out by skilled,
trained technicians! Read and follow the section headed “Safety rules” in this
operating-instruction manual.
Loss of power on the inverter
Cause:
One or more fuses are defective
Remedy:
Exchange any defective fuses
Fuse is defective
Cause:
Overtemperature in the DC isolating box 40/60 (e.g. caused by direct
exposure to sunshine)
Remedy:
If necessary, find a different position in which to mount the DC isolating
box 40/60 (such as beneath the solar modules);
change the defective fuse
Cause:
Solar-module string is defective
Remedy:
Remedy the defect in the solar-module string, change the defective fuse
Cause:
A fuse with too low a rated amperage has been used (i.e. the rated fuse
amperage is smaller than the maximum short-circuit current of the solar
module)
Remedy:
Change the defective fuse, and use instead a fuse with a suitable rated
amperage
Cause:
Solar-module strings are connected with reversed polarity
Remedy:
Check the polarity of every single solar-module string, one at a time, and
connect up any polarity-reversed solar-module strings the right way round
(i.e. to the right pole)
No solar-module voltage at the inverter
Cause:
DC isolator not closed
Remedy:
Switch the DC isolator into the “ON” position (i.e. close the DC isolator)
No solar-module voltage at the inverter
DC isolator closed
Cause:
Connection error
Remedy:
Check the main cable of the inverter for any signs of damage;
check the (terminal)connections
Cause:
Polarity reversal of the main DC(+) and DC(-) leads of the inverter
Remedy:
Connect the main inverter leads to the correct poles on the DC isolator
