5. Electrical connections
Please observe the safety-relevant maximum values for
the connection of the voltage supply and the sensors
specified, see chapters 7.3.1 and 7.3.2.
5.1 General
The temperature transmitter must be mounted in a way that electro-
static charges will not occur.
When connecting a mV-sensor or a thermocouple with internal cold
junction, the terminals and are to be shorted (shorting jumper /
shorting bar).
Version head mounting, Model T32.1*.***:
The transmitter is supplied with a shorting jumper. (In the generic or
basic configuration this jumper is functionless fixed at the terminal j).
Version rail mounting, Model T32.30.***:
No shorting jumper available, it is necessary to use a shorting bar
(e.g. wire).
