The moment compensator DARD-L1-...-S is intended to serve as a flexible
connector between the slide (A) of the linear drives DGP-18 … -80 or
DGC-K-18 … -80 and the effective load to be moved.
The moment compensator also offers:

torque-free power transmission between the effective load and the

slide (A) of the linear drive

compensation for misalignment between the guide, effective load and axis

of the linear drive.

2. Preassembly
 Fasten the effective load as close as possible to the centre on the moment

compensator profile 1.

 Remove the slide (A) of the

drive DGP as follows:

Unscrew the screws (C).

Pull the adapter (D), com-

pression springs (E) and
scrapers (F) off the slide (A).

 Remove the locking pin (X).

17341d_12

 Centre the pin 3 with the

notch upwards in the hole of
the slide (A).

17341d_13

 Push one slip piece 2 onto

each side of the pin 3.

17341d_14

 Put the scrapers (F) onto

both sides of the slide (A).

 Position the compression

springs (E) in the
scrapers (F).

 Plug the adapter (D) onto

the compression springs (E)
and the scraper (F).

 Tighten the screws (C).

The retaining ring 4 is required only for mounting on linear drive DGC-K.

For DGC-K-25 … -63:
 Fix the slide (A) so that, during removal, no lateral forces reach the guide.

17341d_21

 Remove the plastic plugs (X)

by pressing them out.

 Observe that the plastic

plugs (X) are seated very
tightly in the slide (A).

17341d_22

 Centre the pin 3 in the hole

of the slide (A).

17341d_23

 Push one retaining ring 4

each into the grooves (B) of
the pin 3.

17341d_24

 Push one slip piece 2 onto

each side of the pin 3.
