Warning

Danger of crushing or shearing due to travel of the protruding switch

lug

1/2 over the proximity sensor (C).

• Avoid

reaching into the travel area of the switch lug

1/2, e.g. by means

of a protective guard.

Table).

3.

Adjustment

Note

If set correctly there will be a gap of S = 0.1 … 1.5 mm between the prox-

imity switch (B)/(C) and the switch lug

1/2.

• Also observe the technical data of the proximity sensors (B)/(C) to this

end.

For linear axes with plain-bearing guide, the distance S can change through

wear of the guide.
• Regularly check the dimension S (every 500 km).
• Avoid external influence in the vicinity of the proximity switches caused

by magnetic or ferritic parts other than the switch lug

1/2.

3a.

With SF-EGC-1/-2-… and SF-EGC-HD-1/-2-…

12148d_6

• Position

the switch

lug

1/2 via the longitudi-

nal holes.

• Push the slide (A) with the

switch lug

1/2 slowly over

the mounted

proximity

switch (B).

• Check that the proximity

switch (B) switches correctly.

3b.

Only with SF-EGC-2-… und SF-EGC-HD-2-…

12148d_5

• Position

the proximity

switch (C) using its thread.

• Push the slide (A) with the

switch lug

1/2 slowly over

the proximity switch (C).

• Check that the proximity

switch (C) switches correctly.
