The cover cap AKM-… 1 is intended as protection against somebody placing
his/her hand in the swivel range of the stop lever (B)
Warning
Danger of injury due to uncontrolled movements:
• Exhaust the swivel module 2.
2. Preparing the assembly
With swivel modules 2 without stop system or with external cushioning, no
segments (A) on the cover cap 1 must be broken (
!Section 3).
With swivel modules 2 with stop system the following applies:
• Note the swivel angle set on your swivel module 2.
Depending on the angle, different segments (A) in the positions of the
stops must be broken out.
• If possible, break out the
segment (A) symmetrical to
the company logo.
• Do not break out too many
segments (A). Cover cap 1
should be placed on swivel
module 2 without touching
the stops.
The following are examples of standard swivel modules.
At 90°
• Break out the segments (A)
here ( !X).
At 180°
• Break out the segments (A)
here ( !X).
3. Assembly
• In the case of swivel modules
with stop system note the
recesses.
• Press the cover cap 1 onto
the swivel module 2 and let
the 3 hooks (Y) snap into the
groove (Z).
