The lever deactivating mechanism 1 is intended for snapping the toggle
lever on stopper cylinder DFST-… tipped into place.
1. Parts list

Warning
Danger of fingers being squashed by the extending piston rod!
Before assembly or disassembly:
•
Exhaust the device and the system.
During operation:
•
Make sure that nobody can reach into the area of movement of the
piston rod of stopper cylinder DFST-… .
• Do not activate/deactivate the toggle lever by hand, use instead an
object (e.g. a screwdriver).
2. Assembly
2a. Assembly with the stopper cylinder DFST-50

• Remove the retaining ring (C)
from the stopper cylinder
with suitable pliers (D).

• Position the lever deactivat-
ing mechanism 1 with the
spring washer 2 and the re-
taining ring (C) as shown.

• Fasten the lever deactivating
mechanism 1 and the
spring washer 2 with the
retaining ring (C) on the
stopper cylinder with the
pliers (D).
2b. Assembly with the stopper cylinder DFST-63/-80

• Remove the retaining ring (C)
from the stopper cylinder
with suitable pliers (D).

• Position the lever deactivat-
ing mechanism 1 with the
spring washer 2 and the re-
taining ring (C) as shown.

• Fasten the lever deactivating
mechanism 1 and the
spring washer 2 with the
retaining ring (C) on the
stopper cylinder with the
pliers (D).
3. Activate / deactivate the toggle lever (E)
In order to deactivate the toggle lever:

• Use an object (e.g. a
screwdriver).
• Press the toggle lever (E)
down until it snaps into
place on the lever
deactivating mechanism 1.
In order to activate the toggle lever again:
•
Use an object (e.g. a screwdriver).
• Press the toggle lever (E) down until it snaps into place on the lever
deactivating mechanism 1.
4. Set the lever deactivating mechanism 1 out of operation
With DFST-50

• Use an object (e.g. a
screwdriver).
• Turn the lever deactivating
mechanism 1 in a clockwise
direction until it
– snaps out of the fastening on
the DFST-50.
– snaps out of the first
fastening and into the
second on the DFST-63/80.
The toggle lever (E) can now no
longer snap into position and
therefore no longer be
unintentionally deactivated.
With DFST-63/80
