6.3.2 Setting the switching behaviour of the switching outputs
1. Switch on the operating voltage.
The vacuum module is in the RUN mode (basic setting).
Note
If you are unsure whether the vacuum module is in the RUN mode, press and hold the
EDIT button for 3 seconds. The vacuum module switches to the RUN mode.
Setting the air-saving function, Out A (already preset)
To set Out A, proceed as follows:
1. Press the Edit button to access the edit mode.
The EDIT mode is active and [Out A] flashes.
2. Press the Edit button to confirm the selection.
3. Select the switch function [threshold value comparator] by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons
(A-/B buttons).
4. Press the EDIT button to confirm the selection.
[SP] (switching point) flashes.
5. Adjust the switching point [SP] (e.g. -700) by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
6. Press the EDIT button to confirm the selection.
[HY] (hysteresis) flashes.
7. Adjust the hysteresis [HY] (e.g. 200) by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
8. Press the EDIT button to confirm the set value.
[NO] or [NC] flashes
9. Select the switching characteristic [NO] by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
10.Press the EDIT button to confirm the selection.
The vacuum module is in the RUN mode.
Setting the vacuum query, Out B (already preset)
To set Out B, proceed as follows:
1. Press the EDIT button to access the edit mode.
The EDIT mode is active and [Out A] flashes.
2. Press the B button to set [Out B].
3. Select the switch function [threshold value comparator] by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons
(A-/B buttons).
4. Press the EDIT button to confirm the selection.
[SP] (switching point) flashes.
5. Adjust the switching point [SP] (e.g. -400) by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
[HY] (hysteresis) flashes.
6. Adjust the hysteresis [HY] (e.g. 5) by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
7. Press the EDIT button to confirm the set value.
[NO] or [NC] flashes
8. Select the switching characteristic [NO] by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons (A-/B buttons).
9. Press the EDIT button to confirm the selection.
The vacuum module is in the RUN mode.
