7-4 Throttle Curve
The Throttle Curve function allows throttle output vs.
input positions to be adjusted. This is typically used to
alter the throttle response to give a linear rate or to adjust
the throttle response sensitivity when hovering or torque
rolling. You can program a single curve (switch to On) or
up to three curves and select them via a programmed
switch. The screen displays a graphic 5-point throttle
curve on its left side to aid in selecting throttle curve
values. Values are set with the Roller.
Parameters to adjust are:
• 5-Point curve with different percentage values
• Expo On/Off
• Curve selection
• Switch
7-6 Range Testing
The Range Test is a safety feature. Perform a range check
at the beginning of each flying session to confirm system
operation. This function reduces the RF Output in order to
confirm the RF Link is working correctly.
In the Functions menu, select Range Test. The display
shows FULL POWER. Push the Roller and the display
shows REDUCED POWER.
With your model restrained on the ground, stand 28
meters (about 90 feet) from the model. You should have
full control of the model with the transmitter in Range Test
Mode.
If control issues occur, contact the appropriate Horizon
Product Support office for assistance.
7-5 Mixes
Depending on what type of mix you selected in System
Settings, different mixes are available.
Basic mixes for wing type model are:
• Rudder to Aileron/Elevator
• Aileron to Rudder
If you select a model with flaps in System Settings, you
will also find the mix: Elevator to Flaps.
Select the Mix with the Roller. If the switch is ON adjust
the mix relation by percent. You will also see relating
graphics information. You can assign these settings to a
switch.
Furthermore, there are 6 free programmable mixes
available. You can change them to inhibited and program
them in normal and curve mode.
7-7 Timer
The system has two timers that can be set individually.
Parameters for timers are:
• Mode: Stopwatch/Countdown
• Stop Watch
You can assign the timer to any switch. Warnings are
Sound and/or Vibration.
If both timers are selected, both timers will be visible on
the display.
