For pretensioning of the open tube ends (for DRQD−...−SD..) for large ranges of
rotation (180...360°):
S Screw the drive into the end position in the anti−clockwise direction.
S Bend the open tube ends when they are not tensioned.

S Turn the tube ends in the anti−clockwise direction into the intended position E
as shown in the following Fig. 10. After completion of the procedure described
below, the tube should assume the intended position E (e.g. in the cut−out of a
adapter plate).

This prevents impermissible squeezing of the spirals inside the flanged shaft
with energy through−feed for large ranges of rotation (180...360°).
S Put the pretensioned tube ends of the spiral tubing into the intended position
E (e.g. in the cut−out of an adapter plate).
