1. Rotate both upstream one−way flow control
valvesĂ(A)
ć First close completely
ć then open again by about one turn.
2. Rotate the adjusting screws for the end
position cushioning (B)
ć at first completely (DRQD−...−P1J/PPVJ),
ć then open again by about 1/4 rotation
(only for DRQD−...−PPVJ).
3. Pressurise the drive in one of the following ways:
ć Slow pressurisation of one side
ć Simultaneous pressurisation of both sides with subsequent exhausting of one
side
4. Start a test run.
5. Note the necessary corrections to the DRQD settings during the test run. These
could be:
ć The range of rotation of the moving mass
ć The rotation speed of the moving mass
ć The end position cushioning
6. Unscrew the one−way flow control valves (A) slowly again until the desired rotation
speed has been set.
If the desired rotation speed for the DRQD−40/50−...−YSRJ has not been reached,
the cushioning time can be reduced by gradual turning out of the shock absorber
(about 1 mm per testing procedure). The maximum value is:
ć 6
rotations (10 mm) for DRQD−40−...−YSRJ
ć 10 rotations (15 mm) for DRQD−50−...−YSRJ.
7. Open up the adjusting screws for the end
position cushioning (B) on both sides until
the desired cushioning has been reached.
The piston should reach the end position
safely, but not strike hard against it.
An overly hard impact will cause the piston
to bounce out of the end position.
When doing this, the cushioning component
for the DRQD−...−P1J may not be screwed out
more than Lmin (è Chapter Mechanical
installation, adjustment with flexible shock
absorber", Fig. 19).
