If the piston can be heard to strike hard in the end position:
S If possible, increase the cushioning (turn in cushioning component for
DRQD−...−P1J or shock absorber for DRQD−40/50−...−YSRJ).
S Replace the following components if they are worn:
ć Both shock absorber of the DRQD−...−YSRJ (è Disassembly and repair)
ć Both seals and internal cushioning components of the DRQD−...−P1J.
9 Service and maintenance
To check the function of the shock absorbers:
S Complete the following steps:
DRQD−... P1J YSRJ
Interval 5 million switching cycles 2 million switching cycles
Procedure 1. Check the cushioning compon−
ents.
In case of audible knocking:
2. Screw in the cushioning comĆ
ponents further.
If the knocking remains the same
despite completely screwing in
the cushioning components:
3. Replace the cushioning com−
ponents and seals (lubricate
the cushioning components beĆ
fore installation with, for
example, LUB−KC1).
1. Screw out the shock absorber
(è Disassembly and repair)
and check for
oil leaks.
2. Replace the shock absorber if
there is visible loss of oil
(è Accessories).
3. Screw in the shock absorber
again.

In case of dirt:
S Clean the DRQD with a soft cloth.
Permissible cleaning agents include:
ć Warm soap suds up to +60
°C
ć Petroleum ether
ć All media which do not damage the materials
