Kohlenstoffstahlflansche sind auf -29°F begrenzt. Bei niedrigeren Temperaturen wird Kohlenstoffstahl für niedrige
Temperaturen (LTCS) verwendet. Unter -56°F kommt Edelstahl zum Einsatz.
