Measuring conditions
Ĉ Evacuation time:
is measured from the beginning of the evacuation up till the time when the switching point (ā[SP] or
[SPmax]āā) of Out A is reached.
Ĉ Pressurization time:
is measured from the beginning of pressurization up till the time when the vacuum drops below a
value of −0.050 bar.
The limit values for the evacuation and pressurization times can be set via the EDIT mode
(è chapter 6.3 EDIT mode).
3 Conditions of use
Warning
Depending on the functions of the machine/system, the manipulation of signal states
can cause serious injury to human beings and damage to property.
· Note that if the switching reaction of the switching outputs is modified in the EDIT
mode, the new status will be effective immediately.
· Activate the password protection (safety code) in order to prevent intentional
modification by unauthorized third parties (è chapter 6.3 EDIT mode).

Incorrect handling can result in malfunctioning.
· Make sure that the following specifications are always observed.
Note
The vacuum must be measured as relative pressure. The pressure value displayed
corresponds to the actual difference from the ambient pressure. Depending on the
current absolute ambient pressure/air pressure, the pressure value which can be
reached may be less than the value specified in the technical specifications.
· Compare the maximum values specified in these operating instructions with your actual application
(e.g. operating media, pressures, forces, torques, temperatures, masses, speeds, operating
voltages, flow rates).
· Take into consideration the ambient conditions at the location of use.
· Please comply with national and local safety laws and regulations.
· Remove all transport packing such as protective wax, foils (polyamide), caps (polyethylene),
cardboard boxes (except for the sealing elements of the pneumatic connections).
The packing is intended for recycling (except for: oiled paper = other waste).
· Use the product in its original state. Unauthorized modification is not permitted.
