The vacuum generator need not be in the basic mode (RUN mode).
· Define the desired switching reaction of the switch outputs (è chapter 6.3 EDIT mode).
The work item must be held reliably against the suction gripper by the vacuum generated.
The intensity and duration of the reject pulse can be set.
The intensity of the reject pulse can be set with the flow control screw
aJ.
1. Screw in the flow control screw
aJ as far as possible by turning it in a clockwise direction.

The channel of the reject pulse is then closed. No reject pulse is generated.
2. Screw in the flow control screw completely until the necessary intensity of the reject pulse is
reached.
You can set the duration of the reject pulse in the EDIT mode (è chapter 6.3.3).
3. Test the settings of the reject pulse before commissioning.
Reducing the vacuum

Ū−CN/−ON
· Block the supply of compressed air by switching off (with −CN) or by switching on (with −ON) the input
voltage.

Ū−CE/−OE
By switching off (with −CE) or by switching on (with −OE) the input voltage, the second solenoid valve
will be switched and a reject pulse will be generated.

Note
If the input voltage is switched on during the reject pulse (with −CE) or switched off
(withĂ−OE), the solenoid valve will be switched to the basic position and the reject pulse
will therefore no longer be generated.
Note
If large suction cups are used, a vacuum independent of the device may be generated
due to the flow resistance in the suction cup when the cup rises fron the work item. This
can lead to the suction cup not being released from the work item despite a sufficiently
long duration of the reject pulse.
The input voltage should therefore not be switched off (with −CE) or switched on
(withĂ−OE) until just before the suction cup lifts up in order that the reject pulse is active
when the suction cup rises.
