6.3 EDIT mode
The following settings can be undertaken in the EDIT mode:
Ĉ the switching function (threshold value or window comparator)
Ĉ the switching points [SP], switching point [SP] with LS−active or [SP] [min] and [SP] [max]
Ĉ the hysteresis [HY], hysteresis [HY] with LS−active
Ĉ the switching characteristic [NO/NC] (normally−open/normally−closed)
Ĉ the air−save function [OPTION] ON/OFF
Ĉ the security code (Lock)
Ĉ the duration of the reject pulse
Ĉ the permitted pressurization time
Ĉ the permitted evacuation time
Ĉ activating the diagnostic output
Ĉ electric manual override.
Note
If the air−save function (−CE, −OE) is active, their settings will be undertaken in the menu
of Out A. If the air−save function is deactivated, Out A is a normal switch output.
6.3.1 Start the EDIT mode
Warning
Depending on the functions of the machine/system, the manipulation of signal states
can cause serious injury to human beings and damage to property.
· Note that if the switching reaction of the switching outputs is modified in the
EDIT mode, the new status will be effective immediately.
Various settings can be selected with the operating buttons (è Fig. 13: )
Ĉ Output (Out A, Out B), the reaction of which is to be set.
Ĉ The duration of the reject pulse.
Ĉ Special menu (SPEC) for setting the air−save function option (LS option), the maximum evacuation
and pressurization times and the security code (Lock).
Note
If the air−save function is active (factory setting only −CE, −OE), the function window
comparator for Out A cannot be set. The air−save function must be deactivated via the
special menu (SPEC).
