Cleaning the air filter

1. Exhaust the vacuum generator.
2. Pull the slide 1 of the filter 2 out carefully to the first grid mark. The slide 1 must remain in this
position on the filter.
3. Pull the filter out. (If necessary assist removal of the filter with a screwdriver.)
4. Clean the filter 2 with petroleum ether.
5. Push the filter 2 with slide 1 into the housing.
6. Press in the slide 1.
è The filter is pulled in through the slide 1.
8.2 Diagnosis
There are four different diagnostic stages. There are two possibilities of displaying the relevant
diagnostic messages:
· via the logical diagnosis channels di 1 and di 2 of the output Out B (only with −2P and −2N);
· via the LCD display of the vacuum generator.
If the diagnostic message at output Out B is desired, the diagnostic channel di 1 or di 2 must be set
(configuration of output Out B è chapter 6.3.2).
